Beloved husband of JoAnn (nee Darowz) Freiert; devoted father of Michael (Laurie) Freiert and Charles (Debbie) Freiert; cherished grandfather of Kristen (Adam) LaFalce, Erik, Kelsey, Matthew, Joseph, Daniel, Brandon S., Brandon J., Kailey, Madisyn and Aleah; fond great-grandfather of Scot and Mason; loving son of the late Norman and Alice Freiert; dear brother of Martha "Marge" (late Gerald) Welsh, Dianne Desotelle, Judith (Andy) Weidman, Michelle, Norman and David (Margaret) Freiert; also survived by relatives and friends. Mr. Freiert served in the US Navy.
