HACHTEN, Frederick R. ~ Of Blasdell, entered into rest on March 3, 2024. Beloved husband of Nancy (Ruth) (nee Bates) Crane; devoted father of Michael R. Hachten, Lyn (Adam) Zybert, Timothy (Lynn) Bapst, Scott Bapst, Robyn (Alan) Bella, Courtney (Ryan) Blanar; cherished grandfather of Jonathan, Paige, Emma, Clayton, Samantha, Emily, Kyleigh, Cameron, Kennedy, and Colton; loving son of the late Herbert and the late Genevieve (nee State) Hachten; dear brother of many siblings. Also survived by family and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Road, on Friday (March 8) from 4-7 PM where a prayer service will follow. Mr. Hachten was a United States Army Veteran. He also belonged to North Collins Volunteer Fire Department, as well as North Collins American Legion. Fred and his wife Nancy enjoyed traveling together.
