Gary Dean Braun May 10, 1955 February 27, 2024 Braun, Gary Dean, 68, of North Tonawanda, entered into rest on February 27, 2024. Devoted husband of 40 years to Diane (nee Huntz) Braun; beloved father of Rebecca Braun (David Schuster) and Brittany Braun; loving son of the late Ernest and Rosemary (nee Baio) Braun; dear brother of Greg Braun; fond nephew of Lillian Perrotti; also survived by nephews, a niece, cousins including Maureen English, Sandy Dunphy and Jeff Perrotti; the fraternity brothers of the College of Wooster and many devoted friends including Jason Kolb. Gary was a former President of the Pendleton Lions Club; a former School Board President for Starpoint High School and a PABA member. He also coached football and wrestling at Maryvale, Clarence and Burgard High Schools and he was also featured on the Maryvale High School Wall of Fame. A member of Shelridge Country Club, Gary did get three holes-in-one during his life, just not at the country club. Gary was well-known and well-loved by everyone. He made everyone important when he spent time with them. Above all, he will be remembered as a family man who loved his wife and daughters. Relatives and friends may visit the Lombardo Funeral Home (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd (near Eggert/ Sheridan Dr.) on Tuesday, March 5 from 2-8pm. A celebration of Garys life will be held over the summer. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Garys name to Villa Angela- St. Joes (VASJ), 18491 Lakeshore Blvd. Cleveland, OH 44119.
