Genevieve Mancuso

Genevieve C. "Evie" Mancuso of Amherst entered into rest on April 4, 2026. Beloved daughter of Matthew and Erin (nee Sobkowski) Mancuso. She is also survived by her twin brother Jack H. Mancuso. Loving granddaughter of Sheila (nee Jaffray) (late James) Sobkowski, late Andrew Zwick, Jack and Kathleen (nee Pischke) Mancuso; fond niece of Lynn Sobkowski, Michael (late Kim) Sobkowski and Tanya (Dr. Mark) Ratchford; dear cousin of Ben, Alec, Olivia, Josh, and Ann Marie. Evie was an 8th grade student at Amherst Middle School. She loved to sing and dance, recently taking hip-hop and jazz classes. She loved to swim and spend time in the water— waterparks, pools, lakes, and the ocean. She was an artist who spent hours each week on her ink drawings. No rollercoaster was too high or too fast for her. She insisted on riding shotgun, no matter who else was in the car, music turned UP, and windows DOWN, in any weather. She made friends wherever she went. She had an infectious smile and gave the world’s best hugs. She was the light of our lives.

Relatives and friends may visit Lombardo Funeral Home (Snyder Chapel) 4614 Main St. near Harlem Rd. on Sunday (April 12) from 1-4 PM. A prayer service will immediately follow.
