Geoffrey A Froewiss

FROEWISS - Geoffrey A. 69 passed away suddenly on May 25, 2023 in Amherst NY. Geoff was born on August 27, 1953, on Long Island NY to Robert and Audrey Froewiss. He was a graduate of Bay Shore High School class of 1971 and Buffalo State University, class of 1979. Geoff also served his country in the US Army. In 1977 he wed Michelle Mazza, who gave him two sons whom he cherished and adored. Geoff was retired from the New York State Department of Social services where he made many lifelong friends. His favorite pastime was spending time with his boys, conversing with friends, Watching his beloved Buffalo Bills and listening to his cherished album collection particularly the Grateful Dead. Geoff was predeceased by the mother of his children Michelle Froewiss Rubino, his parents, and many of his longtime friends. Left to cherish his memory are Geoff and Kelly Froewiss, Chris Froewiss and partner Amanda, grandson Chase, brother Robert Froewiss, sister Lynne Harmon and husband Junior, and his nephews, Trey, Ryan, and Evan. Though Geoff is gone, he will never be forgotten. Per the familys request, there will be no service announcements at this current time.
