Drescher; devoted father of Melinda Emminger (Frank Gioia), Michael R. & Raymond Drescher; brother of Gretchen Anzinger; cherished grandfather of Michael G.L., Sean, Tristan & Colin Drescher; Matthew Emminger; Ashley Niziol; Reese Schneider-Drescher; stepfather of Willard M. & Jason Crosby; step-grandfather of Willard H. & Madeline Crosby; great-grandfather of: Ripley, Scout & Athena Drescher; uncle of Cynthia Vance (Scott Smith), Suzanne Antonelli, Charles Wilmoth; preceded in death by: Mother: Mary Esther (Welch); Father: Raymond Drescher; First Wife: Patricia Drescher (Muzzant). Mr. Drescher was the Superintendent of Schools for the Depew Union Free School District, 1974 - 1988, during his long and esteemed career in public education. He was a US Marine Corp. Veteran serving from 1958-1962, as well as an avid golfer and fisherman. A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at 11:00 AM in Zion United Church of Christ, 15 Koenig Circle Tonawanda, NY 14150.
