George R. Flagler

Flagler, George R. - of Barker, NY, entered into rest on February 27, 2021. Beloved husband of Denise Flagler; dearest father of Lisa (Gordie) Fletcher and Andrea (Randy) Runfola; devoted step-father of Candice (Doug) Gancasz and Bill (Heidi) Moffitt; cherished grandfather of Blair (Jeremy), Jimmy, Alexandra (Garret), Savanna (Eric), Madison, Piper, and Paris; great-grandfather of Ava, Arla, Gavin, and Liam; loving son of the late Glenn and Mary Isabel Flagler; dear brother of Robert (Patricia) Flagler and Linda (late Gordon) Jellings; preceded in death by 3 siblings, also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Mr. Flagler was a US Vietnam Army veteran and served in the military police. He was a Sheriff Investigator, and retired after 30 years from the Niagara County Sheriff's Department. In 1992, Mr. Flagler was awarded the honor of being Deputy of the Year through the NYS Sheriff's Association. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 28th from 1:00-4:00PM at Loyal Order of Moose, 204 Monroe Street Lockport, NY 14094.
