GALLAGHER - George P., Sr. of Orchard Park, entered into rest on July 13, 2023. Devoted father of Katy Gallagher Lizak, Meg Gallagher Lanesey, George Jr. (Nancy), Trisha (Mark) Monile, Timmy (Joyce), Brigid (Brett) Philipps, Conor and the late Brendan; cherished grandfather of Michael, Kyle, Lauren, Ryan, Meghan, Jack, Riley, Griffin, Regan, Teagan, Tessa, Tiernan, Tarayn and Lainey; loving son of the late Mary and George Gallagher; dear brother of Kathleen (late Gordon) Sheffer, Raymond (late Paula), Colleen (late Richard) Connell, Michael (Ed Facundo), the late Jack (Lucy), the late William (late Kay) and the late Patrick; lifelong friend of Sharon Gallagher and Mary Lynn Gallagher. George taught Special Education at BOCES 1 for 30 years. He was a Founding Member, oldest living member and past president of The Patriots Club in Lackawanna. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Rd. near Lake Ave. on Tuesday from 3-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Victory Basilica, 767 Ridge Rd., Lackawanna on Wednesday morning at 10:30 AM. Please assemble at Church. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery.
