SHEMALIE - George D. Of Tonawanda, entered into rest September 17, 2015. Beloved husband of Joan A. (nee Leone) Shemalie; devoted father of Mary Ann Kernahan; cherished grandfather of Eric (Lindsay), Jeremy (Lisa), Katherine "Katie" (Shaun), Aaron and John; adored great-grandfather of Morgan, Mia and Sylus; loving son of the late David and Nettie Shemalie; dear brother of the late Helen Assaf; also survived by relatives and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd. near Eggert/Sheridan Dr. on Sunday from 2-6 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John Maron Church, 2040 Wehrle Dr., Williamsville on Monday morning at 10 o'clock. (Please assemble at church). Mr. Shemalie was an Air Force veteran.
