Georgia F. Peden

PEDEN - Georgia F. (nee Frost) Of Buffalo, entered into rest October 23, 2022 at the age of 92. Dedicated and loving mother of her daughter, Lorene (Richard) Mariano and her sons John and Michael Peden; fun and loving grandmother of Richard Jr. (Sabrina) Mariano, Michael (Autumn) Mariano, Joseph (Sarina) Mariano, Marissa Giovannini, Daniel Peden, Sarah Peden (fianc Michael Cruz) and great grandmother of Angelo, Cecelia, Rico, Valentina, Filomena, Santino and Elliana Mariano and Sterling and Sulia Cruz; predeceased by her parents, Robert O. Frost and Jean Staples Frost, her brother 2LT Robert S. Frost and her sister, Emily J. Frost. Georgia spent her life in service to others as a Senior Case Worker for the Erie County Dept. of Social Services. She was very active in numerous church committees and spent hundreds of hours volunteering at the Episcopal Church Home on Rhode Island and especially at Canterbury Woods in Williamsville, and Compeer in Buffalo, where she was awarded Volunteer of the Year at both. Georgia also loved her numerous pets over the years and often took in elderly animals. No prior visitation. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Michaels and All Angels Episcopal Church, 81 Burke Dr., Buffalo on Thursday morning (October 27) at 10 AM. Entombment Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mount View Assisted Living or the Erie County SPCA.
