Gerald S. Birk

BIRK, Rev. Gerald S. Of Blasdell, entered into rest February 20, 2020. Beloved husband of the late Linda (nee Collins) Birk; devoted father of Christina (Christopher) Dysard, James (Elizabeth) Birk, and Elizabeth (DJ) Birner; cherished grandfather of Jerald and Nica Miller, Andrew, Victoria, Matthew, and Steven Birk, Lillian and Oscar Birner, and the late Devin Miller; adored great-grandfather of Dustin and Alina; loving son of the late Richard and Carolyn Birk. No Prior Visitation. Private Services will be held at a later date. Rev. Birk was a US Army Vietnam Era Veteran, 10th Special Forces (Green Beret), Airborne, and an expert medic. He was a member of Phi Sigma Kappa Social Fraternity and Hamburg Writers Group. He was also an ordained Christian Spiritualist Minister, Rev. and co-founder of Northern Lights Church in West Seneca.
