Gerald F. Hicks Jr.

HICKS - Gerald F., Jr. Age 87, of Tonawanda, entered into rest May 12, 2016, beloved husband of Beatrice W. (nee Walz) Hicks; devoted father of Geoffrey (Patricia) Hicks and Barbara (Kurt) Lucas; cherished grandfather of Joshua Hicks, Megan Hicks, Kestrel Lucas and Sedge Lucas; also survived by relatives and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., near Eggert/Sheridan Dr., on Tuesday from 4-8 PM for a gathering in Gerald's memory. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Buffalo Inc., 225 Como Park Blvd., Cheektowaga, NY 14227 or Zion UCC, 15 Koenig Circle, Tonawanda, NY 14150. Mr. Hicks served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, was a History Teacher at Clarence High School for 25 years and was a Past President of the Central Park Men's Club.
