MINEO - Gerald A., Sr. Of Buffalo, entered into rest February 24, 2017, beloved husband of 64 years to Josephine (nee Giambra) Mineo; devoted father of Gerald A. Mineo, Jr. and David C. (Dr. Lisa Mendonza-Mineo) Mineo; cherished grandfather of Stephanie, Matthew, Nicholas, Christopher, Michael, Francesca and David Jr.; loving son of the late Angelo and Maria Mineo; dear brother of the late Anthony Mineo, Mary Oishei and Angeline Cirincione; also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd. near Eggert/Sheridan Dr. on Tuesday from 4-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 160 Court St., Buffalo on Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock. (Please assemble at church). Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Mr. Mineo was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and a Purple Heart recipient.
