Meehan, Gerard “Gerry” M., of Clarence, NY, entered into rest June 5, 2026. Beloved husband of Mirella (nee Fabris) Meehan; devoted father of Dan (Kathryn) Meehan, Adam Meehan, and Kate Meehan; cherished grandfather of Christian, Alex, Nathan, and Juniper; loving son of the late Albert and Frances (nee Bergin) Meehan; dear brother of John (Lisa) Meehan, Joe Meehan, Margo (Brian) Salnek, Mike (late Kelly) Meehan, and Mary-Lynne Wren. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., near Eggert Rd./Sheridan Drive, Thursday (June 11) from 4-7 PM. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Because of Gerry’s passion for helping retired players of his generation, in lieu of flowers, donations in Gerry’s honor will support the Hockey’s Greatest Family Fund, which assists former players and their families, providing counseling services and medical and mental health support.
