Beloved husband of Carol (nee Posster) Ortiz; devoted father of Jennifer and Jeremy Ortiz; loving son of the late Ramiro and Angeline Ortiz; dear brother of Elvira (late John) Ortiz-Fehr, Teresa Ortiz, and the late Amador Ortiz; cherished brother-in-law of the late June Posster; also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends. No prior visitation. A Celebration of Gerard’s life will be held at the convenience of the family. Gerard was a United States Army Veteran.
