Gertrude went home to our Lord peacefully on September 1, 2026 after a full life at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Ronald Louis LoTempio; devoted mother of Kathleen (Timothy) Czechowicz, Diane (David) Zisa, JoAnne Thomas, Debbie (Mario) Tornambe and Ronald (Shawn) LoTempio, Jr.; cherished grandmother of 15; adored great-grandmother of 13 great-grandchildren and 2 late great-grandchildren; fond great-great-grandmother of 3; loving daughter of the late Michael and Jenny (nee Loretto) Loffredo; caring sister of the late Anthony Loffredo, Carm (Peter) Calandra, Lucy (Charles) Minneci and Peter Loffredo; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Gertrude was a resident at Peregrine Senior Living at Orchard Park, where she was cared for during the past year and a half. In her younger years she liked to crochet, play cards, dance, and bowl. But she most cherished time spent with her family and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel) 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., near Eggert Rd., on Sunday September 13, from 12-4 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Amelia Church, 2999 Eggert Rd., on Monday September 14, at 9:30 AM. Please assemble at church. Entombment Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
