Gilbert "Dick" L. Rummings, 88, of Amherst, entered into rest on May 23, 2026. Loving companion of Jeanette Callari; dear father of Denise Rummings-Flynn, Wayne (Johana) Rummings, and the late Richard (Lisa) and Dennis (Mary) Rummings; cherished grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; loving son of the late James and Ruby Rummings; Gilbert was predeceased by five sisters and two brothers. Also survived by family and friends.

Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel) 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., near Eggert/Sheridan Rd., on Wednesday (May 27) from 3-7 PM, where a funeral service will begin at 6:30 PM.
