Entered into rest on December 29, 2019. Beloved wife of Lemmon C. Hunter; devoted mother of Maggie (Jose) Orta, Vanessa Hunter, Emily Hunter and Magaly (Michael) Full; cherished grandmother of 12 grandchildren and four great- grandchildren; loving daughter of the late Ramon and Emilia Ruiz; dear sister of Jose Mendez, Jose Ramon Ruiz, Marina Ruiz, Maria Monserrate Vazquez, Luis Ruiz, Willi Ruiz, late Jose Roberto Mendez, and predeceased by 10 brothers and sisters; also survived by nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave., on Wednesday and Thursday from 4-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anthonys Church, 306 Ingham Ave., on Friday at 11 oclock (please assemble at church). Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Gladys was a member of Sagrado Corazon de Jesus.
