91, of Cheektowaga, entered into rest on January 3, 2025. Devoted wife of the late Richard C. LaBend; beloved mother of Deborah Acanfora (Howard) and Karen (David) Zelak; adored stepmother of Richard M. (Lisa) and Rand (Annemarie) LaBend; fond aunt of Phil Christiano; cherished grandmother of Michael Acanfora, Jason Acanfora, Alexa (Andre) Monroe, Jacob Zelak, Brandon LaBend, Trevor LaBend and Patrick (Elizabeth) Wannicki; loving daughter of the late Walter and Maryann (nee Baton) Rynkowski; also survived by many friends. No prior visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Queen of Martyrs Church, 180 George Urban Blvd. Cheektowaga on Thursday, January 9 at 9:30am (please assemble at church).
