Vega, Gonzalo of Lackawanna, entered into rest on January 3, 2024. Loving father of Deborah Panaro, Diana (Jeff) Fildes and Joseph Vega; cherished grandfather of 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; loving son of the late Dolores and Juan Vega; dear brother of the late Alberto, the late Rafael (late Maria), Socorro (late Serafin) Rios, Concepcion, Epifania (late Venero) Martinez, the late Carlos (Mildred) and the late Elsa; Gonzalo was a very special part of the Carrion family and also has many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel) 885 Niagara Falls Blvd. near Eggert/Sheridan Dr. on Tuesday from 4-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Ss Columba-Brigid Church, 75 Hickory St., Buffalo on Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock. Please assemble at Church. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center or Meals on Wheels of WNY.
