Grace I. Weis

Grace Irving Weis, Miss Kitty 91, of Tonawanda, New York passed away Friday, April 12, 2019. Born, May 23, 1927 to William Irving and Mildred Grant. Grace graduated from Lafayette High School. She is predeceased by her husband Edwin Weis, son William Weis, sisters Helen Mason, Charlotte Jaeger and son-in-law George Tortarella. Grace was very proud of her 1838 Settlement House on Highland Ave where she would often be found working in her yard enjoying her gardening. Grace was employed by Kleinhans and AM & As for many years before she found her favorite job at Fantasy Island on Grand Island. Grace was the retail manager at Fantasy Island and often played the role of Miss Kitty in the Western Town Shootout Show. She was a member of the Red Hats Society and enjoyed creating and selling her crafts. Grace is survived by her daughter Susan Tortarella; daughter-in-law Nancy Weis; grandchildren, Jonathan (Kimberly) Weis, Jason (Maureen) Weis, Jennifer (Jeffery) Loder, George (Michelle) Tortarella, and Troy (Alicia) Tortarella; great-grandchildren, Anthony Tortarella, Vannessa Tortarella, Shayla Tortarella, Joey Tortarella, Mia Tortarella, Marlee (Jack Hoppe) Lake, Elle Weis, Brandon Loder, Anthony Weis, Ava Weis; great-great grandchildren, Blair and Bryce Hoppe and many special nieces and nephews. Private family services are being held.
