Grinda L. Jones

JONES, Grinda Lee, 71 of Lackawanna passed away after a brief battle with lung cancer on June 2, 2025. He was born in Tifton, Georgia on February 18, 1954 to Narva King. Grinda prided himself on his work as a CNA. He loved repairing cars and making people laugh. He is survived by his wife, Adela, and their 4 children Victoria (Brittany) Vega, Melissa (Sheila) Jones, Lonnie (Lisa) Jones, and Christina Jones; and his 5 grandchildren Lonnie Jr., Madison, Maya, Matthew, and Mario; also survived by family and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave., for a gathering in Grinda’s memory on Monday (June 16th) from 5:00-7:00 PM, where a Funeral Service will immediately follow.
