COLE - Harold Emmanuel Dowoo Of Buffalo, entered into rest April 28, 2022. Beloved husband of 47 years to Barbara Clawson-Cole; devoted father of Elmira Elly Young, Harold Cole, Jr. and Bradley (Etana) Cole; cherished grandfather of Giselle Young and Isabella Cole; loving son of the late Bankole E. Cole and Annie Elmira (nee Elba) Cole; dear brother of Bamiwole Oni Cole, Arthur (Julie) Cole, Daisy Cole and the late Claude Cole, Arnold Cole and Taiwo Thomas; also survived by nieces and nephews. Harold immigrated from Freetown, Sierra Leone in his early 20s. He attended University at Buffalo, where he achieved his Masters degree in Economics. He was a professor for Erie Community College and Daemen College, and worked at Buffalo Public Schools. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Snyder Chapel), 4614 Main St., near Harlem Rd., on Wednesday (May 4th) from 6-8 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Michael and All Angels Church, 81 Burke Dr., Buffalo, on Thursday at 12 oclock (please assemble at church). A private entombment will be held for the family at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
