Helen Smith

Of Buffalo, entered into rest on November 5, 2025. Helen was born at Myers Hospital, Buffalo, on August 4, 1961. She attended School 37 Grammar School and later Southside High School. Helen grew up in the Fruit Belt, on Mulberry Street, and worked at M&T Bank.

Helen was the beloved mother of Wayne Weeden, Lisa Weeden, Daykeyla Smith, Ashley Smith, and the late Melinda Weeden; cherished grandmother of Tamera Littlejohn, Royalty Demetris Morgan, Anthony Weeden, the late Aaliyah M. Weeden, the late Wayne Tyrone Weeden, Omarion Arroyo, Wayne T. Weeden, Aaliyah K. Weeden, Neil Weeden, Noah Weeden, Taniah Weeden, Hezekiah Harper, Jeremiah Nelson, Jamoni Owens, and Ja'Quan Owens Jr.; dear sister of Annie D. Brown, Johnnie B. Johnson Jr. (Bubble), Willie Johnson, Shirley Johnson, Gloria Johnson (Smith), and Reginald Johnson; loving daughter of John B. Johnson and Johnnie Mae (Grier) Johnson.

Relatives and friends may visit on Wednesday November 12, 2025 from 2-3 pm at The Lombardo Funeral Home (Snyder Chapel) 4614 Main St. near Harlem Rd., where a Funeral Service will immediately follow at 3 pm.
