Helen G. Davis

Helen Gnell Davis was born on July 06, 1935 in Phenix City, Alabama to Noah and Annie Thomas and was the youngest of 9 children. She passed away on Wednesday, October 07, 2020 at Erie County Medical Center. Helen graduated from South Girard High School and married Lewis Davis Sr. May 05, 1951. They were happily married until his death in September 1985. Helen worked as a Supervisor at Nabisco Inc. for many years. She began to study the Bible as one of Jehovahs Witnesses and would always say it was the start of a new life. One of her favorite scriptures was Psalms 40: 1-5 where she would always say how she hoped in Jehovah and put complete trust in him. Helen leaves to cherish her memory her children; one daughter, Patricia (Carver) White, two sons; Lewis Davis Jr. and Andre C. Davis. She also leaves grandchildren: Antwan, Shomari, DeShawn, Ramon, Andre Jr., Jeffrey, Kevin, Tiffany, Nicole, Sheena, Alexis, Brianna, Trevulus, Danielle, Alise, Brianna. She has 18 great grandchildren and was affectionately called Grandma Great by Gavin and Shomari Jr. who enjoyed spending time with her camping and taking her food along with being sure she took her medicine.
