KARY - Helene S. (nee Spanos) Of Buffalo, entered into rest January 21, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Christ G. Kary; loving mother of John D. II (Lillian DeChellis) Kary and Christopher D. Kary; cherished grandmother of John D. Kary III, Christopher W. (Michelle) Kary, Julia R. Kary, Dimitri L. Kary and Alana M. Kary; adored great-grandmother of Michael Braun, Grace Braun and Luke Kary; loving daughter of the late John and Bessie Spanos; dear sister of Estelle A. (late James) Peepas; fond aunt of Valerie Shondel, Chrisanne Hensley, Diane (Maurice) Steiker and Stephanie (Erik) Cook; dearest godmother of Cathy Fabiatos and Caroline Eoannou Williams. Relatives and friends may visit the lombardo funeral home (Snyder Chapel), 4614 Main St., Snyder (near Harlem Road), on Monday from 3-8 PM, where a Trisagion Service will be held at 7 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 146 West Utica St. (corner of Delaware Ave.), Buffalo, on Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock (please assemble at church). Interment Elmlawn Cemetery. Donations may be made in Helene's name to the Hellenic Orthodox Church of the Annunciation.
