Henry Leonard Burns, Jr.

Henry L. Burns Jr., beloved husband of Ann (Arundell) Burns; loving father of Kathryn Ruth (Brian) Fogarty and Henry Clay; cherished grandfather of Patrick Henry and Grace Ann Fogarty; adored brother-in-law of Jacqueline Burns, Susan Burns, Dianne Sippel, E. Ross Arundell (Patricia), Holly (Richard) Schulte and Katherine Arundell; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Henry L. and M. Ruth (Watt) Burns and siblings, Missy (Thomas) Bennett, Joseph P. Burns and Michael T. Burns. Henry enjoyed a career as a financial advisor. He was active in the community serving on the board of the Divine Child School, Medaille University, Burchfield Penney Art Center, The Bond Club of Buffalo, The Buffalo Club, The City of Buffalo Planning Board, St. Mark Church Parish Council, St. Mark School Board Member, St. Mark Church Holy Name Society, The Bishops Lay Committee, The Notre Dame Club of WNY, The Buffalo & Erie County Botanical Gardens. Henry was a proud member of the Class of 1962 University of Notre Dame. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mark Church, 401Woodward Ave., Buffalo on Tuesday, July 9 at 9:30am (please assemble at church). Interment Mount Olivet Cemetery.
