Of Amherst, entered into rest February 17, 2012. Beloved husband of Rita G. (nee Bickelman) Evelt; devoted father of Donna (Mark) McLaughlin and John (Tammy) Evelt; precious papa of Kaitlyn, Julia, Bradley, Jeffery and Mallory; loving son of the late Henry A. and Christina (nee Heselhauf) Evelt; dear brother of Mary (Albert) Benker and Ruth (Thomas) Luthringer; also survived by family and friends. No prior visitation. Mr. Evelt was an Army Veteran of the Korean War and a lifetime member of American Legion A.J. Jurek Post.
