Henry E. Shurmatz

Of Tonawanda, entered into rest June 7, 2023. Devoted father of Daniel Shurmatz and the late Steven Shurmatz, as well as father to Michael Shurmatz and Corey Shurmatz and husband Dan Kosowski, and their mother Nancy Remington; loving son of the late Walter and Josephine Shurmatz; dear brother of Bill (Debbie) Shurmatz, Barbara Roy, Kathy (Norm) Schultz, Dick (Debbie) Zaverl, John (Cindy) Shurmatz and the late Maggie (late Bill) Zaller; also survived by grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Francis J. Donovan Post 1626, 3210 Genesee St., Cheektowaga, on Thursday (June 29) from 6-9PM, where military honors will be held at 7PM.
