Howard N Kerber

KERBER - Howard N. Age 87, of Cheektowaga, NY, entered into rest October 27, 2015. He was born November 21, 1927 in Buffalo, NY, the son of the late Edmund and Mary Kerber. He served in the Army during World War II and worked for NY Telephone and AT&T for 44 years; devoted husband of the late Patricia A. Kerber for 62 years; cherished father of Diane (Anthony) Millanti, Sharon (David) Staszak, Carole (Christopher) Melohusky, Lynda (David) Miller, Janet (John) Keck, Edward (Lynne) Kerber, Norma Jean Kerber, Patti (Richard) Streck, Bette Jo (Daniel) DiStasio and the late Elaine and baby boy Kerber; grandfather of Sarah (Paul), Andy (Jennifer), Meredith, Mark, Matthew (Alicia), Jason (Erin), Emily (Patrick), Anthony, Kristen, Brian, Michael, Robert, Richard, Samantha, Edward, Jessica and Benjamin; great-grandfather of Alexander, Christopher, Sophia, Ashley, James, Zachary and David; brother of Gerald (MaryAnn) Ledwin; also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings Joseph Kerber, Dorothy Antholzner, James Kerber, Marie Grotke and Jerome Ledwin. Relatives and friends may visit Lombardo Funeral Home, 3060 Abbott Rd., Orchard Park, Sunday from 1 PM to 7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at St. John Gualbert Church, Cheektowaga at 10 AM. Family and friends are asked to please assemble at the church.
