Of Hamburg, entered into rest May 24, 2025. Beloved husband of Anita C. (nee Cohoon) Meissner; devoted father of Jeff (Margaret “Peggy”), Rick (June), Amy (Stephen) Lewonka and the late Brian (Jeanne) Meissner; cherished grandfather of Ryan (Jane), Rebecca (Jeffrey), Catherine (Liam), Daniel (Miki), Ellen, David, Madeleine (Noah), Hannah, Grace, Willa, Lucy and Jasper; adored great-grandfather of Colin and Athena; dear brother of the late Ethel and the late Robert; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Howard enjoyed vacationing in Florida and fishing at his beloved Honeoye Lake. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave. on Wednesday (May 28) from 3-7PM. A funeral service will be held at St. John Lutheran Church, 4536 S. Buffalo St., Orchard Park on Thursday morning at 10:30AM. Please assemble at Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran School.
