Jack E. Tower, Jr.

TOWER - Jack E., Jr. Of Amherst, NY, passed away suddenly at the age of 51, at his home on August 9th, 2021. Son of the late Sharon and Jack Tower, Sr.; loving brother of Richard Tower; proud father to Amanda Goodrich (Michael), Allison Leon (Scottie) and Shawn Guzdek and bonus dad to Jason Lickers. Adoring Papa to Jason Jr., John, Julian, Kailey, Zoe, Max, Rose, McKenna, Mark and Carly. Beloved nephew, uncle, cousin and dear friend to so many. After graduating from Williamsville North, Class of 1988, Jack joined the Navy, served in the Gulf War and then joined the Air Force where he served for many years. He was a former volunteer firefighter with both the Getzville and North Bailey Fire Department. Jack retired from the Town of Amherst and worked at Buffalo General in Environmental Services. Jack loved the outdoors and spending time fishing with his grandkids. He was always active in the community and very passionate about helping our Veterans. He was a member of VFW Post 416, AMVETS and American Legion. He was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME, 885 Niagara Falls Blvd. (Northtowns Chapel), near Eggert/Sheridan Dr., on Friday, from 4-8 PM, where Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 10 oclock.
