James Albarella

Albarella, James Oct 25, 1936 - Oct 17, 2024 Of Florida, formerly of Blasdell, entered into rest October 17, 2024. Beloved husband of 65 years of Mary Rose (nee Hardy) Albarella; devoted father of Cynthia (late William) (Timothy Slattery) Kump and Susan (Dale) Rogers; cherished grandfather of Brittany (Adam) Somogye and Chelsey Kump; adored great-grandfather of Payton and Edward; loving son of the late Thomas and Dorothy Albarella; also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. James was a lover of dogs, antique shopping, western movies, competitive shooting, and working with horses. He also thoroughly enjoyed his sweets. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave. on Tuesday (October 22) from 3-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, 3148 Abbott Rd., Orchard Park on Wednesday morning at 11:30 AM. Please assemble at Church. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made in James' name to Hospice Foundation or the Alzheimer's Association, Western New York Chapter.
