James A Bryant Jr.

Bryant - James A. Jr. Entered into rest August 21, 2017. James served the Buffalo community for over 50 years. James worked and retired from the NFTA after 30 years of service as the Employee Assistance Manager. Prior to working at the NFTA James also served as the Executive Director of the Buffalo Addicts Rehabilitation Center and he was also the Executive Director of the Division of Drug Abuse Services. James was a member of the United States Army where he served proudly 1957-1959 and 1961-1962. On July 25th, 1964 James was joined in Holy Matrimony to his beloved wife Helen Belcher. They were married 53 years and were together a total of 58 years. They have three children: James A. Bryant III, Marlo A. Bryant, and Martin A. Bryant. He was Also a proud member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. James is mourned and remembered by his loving wife Helen Belcher Bryant, His Children James A. Bryant Jr. (Kristina), Marlo Bryant, and Martin A. Bryant. Several grandchildren, sister Melrose O' Riley, and a host of other family members, and friends. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday August 26st at 11:00AM at Delaware Baptist Church 965 Delaware Ave. Buffalo NY 14209.
