James A. Cardin

CARDIN - James A. Of Alden, entered into rest June 11, 2017; beloved husband of Nancy (nee Kress) Cardin; devoted father of 12; cherished grandfather of 28 grandchildren; loving son of the late James and Mary (nee DiBenedetto) Cardin; dear brother of the late Joseph Cardin; also survived by many loving relatives and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave., on Thursday from 4-8 PM. Funeral Service will immediately follow. Mr. Cardin was a U.S. Army veteran, worked as a minister in corrections facilities and with those struggling with addiction and received a presidential award for his volunteer work.
