James passed away on July 1, 2026 in Batavia NY. Born in Buffalo, the son of the late Edward V Cichon and Marie T. (nee Scurr) Cichon.

Survived by several nieces and nephews, especially his nephew Greg was a good friend.

James served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps. He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan, and loved reading History books.
