Of Buffalo, entered into rest February 13, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Lena M. (nee Coppola) Continelli; devoted father of Mary Lou (late Fred) Nevin, Lucille (Paul) Whalen and Louis (Deirdre) Continelli; cherished grandfather of David (Sandra) Whalen, Paul Michael (Anne) Whalen, Brian (Tracy) Nevin, Kathleen (Joseph) Van De Loo, Christopher (Brenda) Nevin, Christina (Joseph) Zwirecki, James (Dawn) Continelli and the late Lisa Guthrie; fond great-grandfather of 11 great-grandchildren; loving son of the late Louis and Louise Continelli; dear brother of Mildred Campbell and the late Theresa Guadagno, Helen Coppola, Pat Quale, Mary Avallone, Ann Jacobs and Anthony, Basil and Joseph Continelli; also survived by relatives and friends. Mr. Continelli served in the US Coast Guard - Merchant Marines during WW II.
