Of Hamburg, entered into rest March 2, 2026. Beloved husband of 65 years to Mary Jane (nee Kingsland) Williams; loving father of Linda (Ken) Lindstrom, James E. II (Rina) Williams and Brenda Wallen (Doug); cherished grandfather of Christopher (Carrie) Lindstrom, Kathleen (Jeffrey) Rathbun, Alex (Carolyn) Lindstrom, Jessica () Bascom, Mark Williams, Megan Williams, Dylan Wallen, Zachary Wallen and Lucas Wallen; adored great-grandfather of 3 great-grandchildren; dear brother of Robert (late Barbara) Williams, June (late Paul) Conrad, Mike (Mary Ellen) Williams, Joyce (late Steve) Smuda, late Dolores (late Ken) Ashbury, late Ron (late Jane) Williams, late Janet (late Joseph) Rosiek, late Mary (late Richard) Hilliard, late Caroline (late Howard "Howie") Brown and the late Ken (Gay) Williams; also survived by many nieces and nephews. James loved cutting and stacking wood, as well as cutting his lawn. He loved his dogs, and taking them on daily walks. 

Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave. on Thursday (March 5) from 3-7PM, where a funeral service will immediately follow. A private interment will be held for the family at Lakeside Cemetery.
