Joan (nee Panepinto) Gardner; devoted father of James (Catherine), Jerald (Diane), Jeffrey (Ellen), Jodi and the late Joel Gardner; cherished grandfather of nine grandchildren and three great-grand- children; loving son of the late Herbert and Anna (nee Shuler) Gardner; dear brother of the late Betty Thomas and Grace Jordan; also survived by relatives and friends. James served in the U.S. Coast Guard during the Korean War.
