James "Jim" Scinta

Of Buffalo, entered into rest July 2, 2025.  Beloved husband of Mary (nee Pleczyj) Scinta, devoted father of David "DJ" Scinta; loving son of Mildred and the late Benjamin Scinta; dear brother of John (Sharon) Scinta; Fond son-in-law of Anna Pleczyj and late Dmetro Pleczyj; Cherished brother-in-law of Anna (Art Jr.) Witkowski and Vera (late Michael) Posnjak; also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.  Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Snyder Chapel) 4614 Main St. Snyder (near Harlem Rd.) on Friday (7/11) from 4:00 - 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Leo's Church, 885 Sweet Home rd., Amherst on July 12th at 10:30 am (Please assemble at church).  In lieu of flowers please make a donation in memory of Jim to a charity of your choice.
