James C. “The Mink” Minkiewicz

Of Blasdell, entered into rest February 19, 2026. Beloved husband of Lorraine J. (nee Pietrasik) Minkiewicz; devoted father of Michelle (Shawn) Clancy, Jeanette (Andrew) White and Joseph (Kathy) Minkiewicz; cherished grandfather of Jake, Megan, Sabrina, Lucy, Cole Charlotte and Sam; dear brother of John (Gale) Minkiewicz, Antoinette (Mark) Hansen and the late Robert (Donna) Minkiewicz; also survived by nieces and nephews. James was a US Army Veteran. He loved playing golf and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave. on Wednesday (February 25) from 3-7PM for a gathering in James’ memory. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, 3148 Abbott Rd., Orchard Park on Thursday morning at 10AM. Please assemble at Church.
