James Pierakos

Of Hamburg, after a long illness, he passed away peacefully December 21, 2012, beloved husband of Phyllis M. (nee Brehm) Pierakos; devoted father of Pamela (Charles) Orcutt and George (Peggy) Pierakos; cherished grandfather of Matthew, Evan, Megan and Lauren; loving son of the late George and Olga (nee Doupolous) Pierakos; dear brother of the late Georgia Pierakos, Beatrice (late John) Corbett and Demetra Pierakos; fond brother in law of Dolores (William) Mortellaro; also survived by relatives and friends. Mr. Pierakos was a Marine Veteran of the Korean conflict. He was a retiree from the South Buffalo railroad. In addition, he was a long standing member of the American Legion Post #63.
