75, of Amherst, entered into rest on November 27, 2024. Beloved husband of 55 years to Jean (nee Gigante) Purpura; devoted father of James (Michele) Purpura, Jean (Patrick) Heyden and Debra (Robert) Miller; cherished grandfather and manager of Grampa's Baseball Team of Jimmy 'Bubba' Purpura, Maddie Heyden, Jen Purpura, Mackenzie Heyden, Julia Purpura, Jackie Heyden, Bobby Miller, Sammy Miller and Lexie Miller; loving son of the late Joseph and Catherine (nee Montaldi) Purpura; dear brother of Rosalie (Nelson) Grotke, Catherine (Michael) Charleton and Joseph (Chris) Purpura; also survived by nieces and nephews.
