James L. Skipper

SKIPPER - James L. Of Fort Worth, TX, formerly of Buffalo, NY, entered into rest on January 19, 2020. Beloved husband of Kathleen J. (nee Finn) Skipper; devoted father of Maura Skipper, Matthew (Amy) Skipper, Meaghan Camp and the late James Skipper and Mark Skipper cherished grandfather of Kaitlin (Matt), Molly (Eric), Kelsey, Bridget, Alex, Zachary and Bryce; adored great- grandfather of PJ; loving son of the late Francis and Grace Skipper; dear brother of Charles (late Barb), Kathleen (Charles) and the late Michael (Joan); also survived by loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Snyder Chapel), 4614 Main St., near Harlem Rd., on Friday from 2-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Christophers Church, 2660 Niagara Falls Blvd., Tonawanda on Saturday morning at 9:30 oclock. (Please assemble at church). Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. James was a former Athletic Director, teacher, and coach for Canisius High School. Donations can be made to the Mark James Skipper Scholarship Fund or Hospice.
