James A. Szyminski, Sr.

James Szyminski Sr. of Lackawanna, entered into rest on November 20, 2024 at the age of 77. Beloved husband of 56 years to Geraldine (nee Denga) Szyminski; loving son of Arthur Szyminski (Evelyn Crummet); devoted father of James (Cindy) Szyminski and Pamela (late Ronald) Sortisio; cherished papa of Heidi Vester (Nathan), Amy, Thomas, Matthew (Maryipan), Alicia, Sara; loving brother of Tom Szyminski (Linda) and Linda Bofford; also survived by nieces and nephews and beloved friends. James worked at South Buffalo Railway for 27 years. When he wasn't working he loved flying radio control planes, wood working, riding his Harley and fishing with his two best friends, Tom and Joe.
