Beloved husband of the late Linda (nee Brigante) Vertalino; devoted father of Melanie Joy and James (Amanda) Vertalino; cherished grandfather of Jaxon and Carter; loving son of the late Patrick and Grace Vertalino; dear brother of Frank (Ann), George (late Sylvia) and the late Benny (Mary) Vertalino; also loved by nieces and nephews. James was a US Army of Occupations veteran during the Korean War. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave. on Friday (June 19) from 4-8PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Victory Basilica, 767 Ridge Rd. (at the corner of S. Park Ave.) on Saturday morning at 9AM. Please assemble at Church.
