Janice M. Davis

November 25, 1951 — August 26, 2023

Janice M. Davis was born to the late Edward and Fearce Davis as the third of their five children on November 25, 1951, in Buffalo, New York. She quietly went to sleep in death August 29, 2023, after a long-term illness and the kind assistance in Palliative care. She was blessed to have loving family members around her, along with some longtime friends who lovingly helped her so much through this ordeal, which made the experience much more bearable,, in view of the fact that she had previously lost both her Mother and sister whom she was very fond of and misses them dearly. Janice, like most of us, hope to see our loved ones again in the resurrection, as Jehovah and Jesus have promised, when all things will be made new and sickness, sorrow and death will be no more. (Revelation 21:3-5) Janice made her dedication to Jehovah God in 1974 and was baptized on February 2, 1974. She has always enjoyed studying the Bible, attending upbuilding, encouraging meetings and sharing the truth with others. In her younger years she was privilege to auxiliary pioneer several times before gradually having health problems. She still enjoyed sharing Bible truths with her relatives and also the medical staff who kindly attended to her needs. She leaves to cherish her memory, her brother John E. (Michele) Davis, Doris F. Davis- Watts, Maurice A. Davis, and 2 nephews, Andre L. Coleman and Anton L. Coleman, a very dear cousin, Katherine Davis McGarrah, and a very dear Aunt, Daisy Davis. Also many many relatives throughout the USA who have shown their love and support during this difficult time. Sister Earlie Page and family have really given beautiful support and encouragement and have proven to be very dear friends over the years now and when really needed. Janice believed in the "power of prayer as taught by her Mother while growing up so that she would always rely on Jehovah God when needing added strength For many years, she engaged in the field ministry and conducted Bible studies with others. Janice was a very pleasant person, yet relatively quiet and mild, We will certainly miss her pleasant smiles and warm sense of humor. Visitation will be held on Thursday (September 7) from 4:00 - 7:00 PM. A graveside service will be held at St. Matthews cemetery on Friday afternoon at 1:00PM
