Jeffrey J. Gaglia, 63 of Hamburg, NY passed away peacefully on August 12, 2023 at Hospice of Buffalo, surrounded by family and so much love, after a long battle with Cancer. Jeffrey was born on August 24, 1959 to Esther S. (DeCapua) Gaglia and Dominic A. Gaglia. In August 1976, Jeffrey met Pamela (Young) in Buffalo, NY. and they married in August 1977. They went on to have 3 children, Jennifer (Kenneth Jr. ), Jackie, Jessica and later 6 grandchildren, Brandon, Justin, Angelina, Dominic, Alana and Ava-Lee. While raising a family with Pamela, working as a truck driver and furniture business owner, Jeffrey enjoyed spending time with his family doing things outdoors, such as camping, boating, fishing, bike riding and snowmobiling. Family parties that included good food, playing cards, yard games and some friendly competition were his kind of fun. Watching/attending football and hockey games with the kids/ grandkids, having friends and family over for "sauce", listening to music and being on the water fishing were some of his favorite things to do. Jeffrey loved and was very much loved by his living sisters Dorothy (late Gary), Debra (Timothy), Susan also his deceased sisters Louise (Louie), Bonnie (Frank) and brothers Anthony (Ann) and John along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Jeffrey always brought life to every party, touched hearts with his kindness, cared for and enjoyed many dogs in his lifetime and always expressed love to his family and friends. His presence will be missed, greatly! Relatives and friends may visit the Lombardo Funeral Home 3060 Abbott Road, Orchard Park, NY on Sunday, August 27th from 1-5pm and also in Resurrection Life Church, 2145 Old Union Rd, Cheektowaga on Monday August 28th at 10:00 am, where a Funeral Service will immediately follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to: Sloan Comfort Care Home 17 Gierlach St. Buffalo, NY 14206 or Hospice of Buffalo 225 Como Park Blvd, Cheektowaga, NY 14227. Both places cared for Jeffrey with the greatest level of care and compassion and we are forever grateful.
