Jeremiah L. "Jerry" Sawyer

SAWYER - Jeremiah L. "Jerry" Of Depew, entered into rest February 22, 2017; beloved husband of Ida J. (nee Nuara) Sawyer; devoted father of Gary (Dawn) Sawyer, Jeffrey (Ann) Sawyer and David Sawyer; cherished grandfather of Jennifer (Gino), Michael, Katie, Jack and Molly; fond great-grandfather of Celina, Gino and Franco; loving son of the late Frank and Margaret Sawyer; predeceased by two brothers; also survived by relatives and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel) 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., near Eggert/Sheridan Dr., on Thursday from 5-8 PM and Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Church, 1085 Englewood Ave., Kenmore on Saturday morning at 10:45 o'clock. (Please assemble at church.) Entombment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Jerry served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a retired supervisor for Niagara Mohawk.
