Of Pleasant Mount, PA, formerly of Buffalo, NY entered into rest on August 17, 2026. Beloved son of the late Jerome and Madalyn (nee Zornick) Ott; loving brother of Posy and Peggy Ott and the late Mimi Naish and Sarah Feness; dear uncle of Alan (Lisa) De Santis, Jennifer Carlo, Susan (Kenneth) Wilson-Riechert, Joanne Thornton, Eric (Jessica) Naish, and the late Julia Lukomski; great-uncle of twelve.

Jerry was an alumnus of Buffalo State University and member of Delta Kappa Fraternity. He was a Vietnam War veteran. Jerry was a past commander of his American Legion Post and member of the VFW. He was a long-time middle and high school teacher in Long Island, NY. Jerry enjoyed carpentry and antique trucks.
